Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse - Travel RN to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Treat Wounds: Evaluate patients with pressure injuries, identify treatment options, and implement wound care best practices to prevent future injuries.
- Manage Foot Ulcers: Develop and implement plans to manage foot ulcers in patients with diabetes, including teaching patients how to maintain a healthy foot care routine.
- Traumatic Wound Care: Assess, clean, and treat all traumatic wounds, including skin tears, lacerations, and all-penetrating wounds.
- Ostomy Care: Provide education and support to patients with ostomies, including infection control and patient education.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure in good standing and a minimum of one year of recent Wound Care experience.
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS certification required.
