Job Title: Audio Visual Installer

At VP Supply Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audio Visual Installer to join our team. As an AV Installer, you will be responsible for installing, integrating, and deploying the latest in A/V and automation technology in residential and commercial locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of audio/visual and automation system solutions per statement of work.
  • Running of low voltage wiring in new construction and retrofit applications.
  • Troubleshooting of audio, visual, and automation equipment and control systems.
  • Identify and escalate business and technical opportunities as appropriate.
  • Networking with other subcontractors to build solid relationships.
  • Provide customer-facing end-user training.
  • Participate in internal meetings with colleagues and team members.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in electronics installation, alarm technology, cable/satellite installation, electrician, or other construction-related trade.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in residential systems integration, including audio/video systems, automation, and residential control systems.
  • Proficient with cable pulling, audio, video, control, and network terminations in new construction and retrofit applications.
  • Knowledge of basic framing and construction, power, and electrical concepts.
  • Proper hand and power tool operations and safety.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
  • Must be resourceful and willing to work through challenges.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience programming A/V, lighting control, and other types of automation systems.
  • A/V industry certification is a plus.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • This position requires working on-site at customer locations, with required travel throughout the geographical footprint and occasional off-hour work/overnight travel.
  • While performing the essential duties, the employee is regularly required to climb ladders, scaffolding, work at heights, and carry items of 50 pounds or more.
