Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at DSV, you will be the face of our company, interacting with clients and customers to provide top-notch service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to process and input customer orders, run shipments from our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders. You will also be responsible for checking all orders for special requests, expediting orders as necessary, and tracing orders to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, you will follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met and assure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying customers as required. Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and input customer orders
  • Run shipments from WMS
  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders
  • Check all orders for special requests
  • Expediting orders as necessary
  • Trace orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
  • Assure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying customers as required

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 year experience in Customer Service-related capacity
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications
  • WMS functions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years warehouse/logistics support experience
  • 2-3 years' experience in Customer Service-related capacity

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will rarely be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment will usually be low to moderate.
