Emergency Medical Technician

As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical services to our community. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' conditions, administering initial treatment, and transporting them to treatment centers. You will also communicate with physicians and other medical personnel via radio and telephone, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. In addition to patient care, you will perform regular shift duties, maintain cleaning standards, and complete incident reports. To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, current State of Ohio EMS certification, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with no more than four points. You will also need to complete annual proctored skills and written protocol testing without lapse.
