We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Installation Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of complex integrated security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control devices, and alarm systems, to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and industry best practices to ensure our clients receive the highest level of security and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical school program preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital and analog camera systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and computer literacy.
- Ability to operate a company truck and maintain a clean driving record.
- Industry-recognized certifications or specialized training in security systems a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical school program in a related field.
- Industry-recognized certifications, such as MCSE or CCNA.
- Experience with IP addressable security devices and surveillance systems.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection systems and security gate operators.
