Job Title: Home Health Aide

At ATN Health, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Duties: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Bathing and Grooming: Help clients with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene, including assistance with grooming tasks such as brushing hair, shaving, and nail care.
  • Dressing: Assist clients with selecting appropriate clothing and dressing and undressing, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Toileting and Continence Care: Assist with toileting needs, including the use of bedpans, commodes, or toilet facilities, and provide support for clients with incontinence, including changing adult diapers and performing perineal care.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help clients move around their home, including transfers from bed to chair, wheelchair to toilet, etc., and assist with exercises and mobility routines prescribed by a physical therapist.
  • Feeding and Nutrition: Assist clients with eating meals and ensuring they maintain a nutritious diet, and prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Skin Care: Apply prescribed lotions or ointments and monitor skin condition to prevent issues like pressure sores.
  • Health Maintenance Duties: Assist clients with medication reminders, vital signs monitoring, and basic wound care, ensuring their overall health and well-being.
  • Transportation: Assist with arranging and providing transportation to medical appointments or other necessary outings, promoting their independence and access to healthcare services.
  • Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for the client.
  • Emotional Support and Companionship: Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the client, family members, and healthcare team, documenting and reporting any changes in the client's condition or needs.
