Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at ITW Shakeproof. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Handling: Move raw materials (wire and components) to machines as needed, and transport products from machines to staging and shipping areas.
  • Inventory Management: Organize empty tubs and wire carriers into cargo boxes, and maintain accurate records of materials moved or handled.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Read product processing forms or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved, and operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Quality Control: Count, weigh, and record numbers of units of materials moved or handled, and remove scrap and record weight.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Perform daily preventative maintenance and document findings, and ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
