This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization in the field of disability solutions. As a Model Risk Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of the company's model risk management framework. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the organization has effective controls in place to mitigate potential risks associated with the use of models.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to model risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of high risk and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to model risk management.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on model risk management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in the field of model risk management.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in risk management, data governance, or auditing.
  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, MS in Finance, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing reports and dashboards.

Salary Range

$95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
