We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistician to join our team at ManTech International. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing preventative maintenance practices to eliminate or delay component/system failure.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Research and Analysis: Conduct technically accurate research using construction drawings, logistics documents, technical manuals, and vendors to accurately perform equipment maintenance.
- Parts Research and Cross-Referencing: Perform parts research and part number cross-referencing in all facets of the federal stock system to identify repair parts and cost.
- Equipment and Tool Identification: Ability to identify equipment and tools required to perform the maintenance.
- Interfacing with Stakeholders: Interfacing with customer personnel, vendors, and military personnel.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience and comprehensive knowledge of providing preventive maintenance practices on military, commercial, and recreational marine industry boats under 200 feet; Candidate may substitute degree with High school diploma and six (6) years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
- Travel and Security Clearance: Must be able to travel as needed up to 25% and possess a valid driver's license. Must have or obtain a U.S. Passport within 90 days of being hired.
- Clearance Requirements: Current and active secret security clearance.
- Writing and Communication Skills: Ability to write comprehensive maintenance procedures.
- Work Environment: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Mobility and Lifting: Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Communication and Teamwork: Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
