Job Summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients accurately to scan specific areas of their bodies, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes and maintain equipment performance.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining scanning procedures and providing reassurance and support as needed.
