Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team at HumanEdge Allied Health. As a SPED Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students in Washington state and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
At HumanEdge Allied Health, we value our employees and offer an attractive compensation package that includes $85,000 - $105,000 per year, tailored to your needs. Our comprehensive benefits package includes low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as travel reimbursement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional techniques and reinforcement as needed
- Schedule and lead team meetings to ensure effective collaboration and goal setting
- Create engaging lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain compliance with school board policies and federal regulations
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in special education teaching
- An Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Passing scores on the ETS Para Pro test or Pearson Paraprofessional assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
