Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Architectural Project Leader at HDR, you will engage in diverse projects, particularly focusing on technology and data center initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying technical design principles and managing design workflows for technology and data storage facilities.
- Facilitating meetings with clients and internal teams, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Overseeing design activities and producing detailed construction documents.
- Conducting thorough reviews of architectural documents to identify conflicts across disciplines.
- Performing quality assurance and cross-disciplinary technical evaluations.
- Drafting and refining architectural specifications.
- Coordinating with various disciplines on project changes and documentation.
- Providing on-site construction oversight and contract administration as necessary.
- Conducting collaborative work sessions with project stakeholders.
- Executing additional duties as required.
Essential Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Registered Architect status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- A commitment to actively participate in our employee-owned culture.
- Willingness to travel as required for project engagements.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements for on-site work.
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Proven graphic presentation skills with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and Blue Beam.
- LEED Accreditation and interest in sustainable design practices.
- Experience in technology or industrial project environments is preferred.
