Compensation: Pay is based on experience: $17-20 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the kitchen and cooking areas are maintained in a safe, organized, clean, and sanitary condition.
  • Prepare nutritious and flavorful meals, capable of cooking a variety of foods in large quantities.
  • Follow established menus and portion control guidelines accurately.
  • Prepare special dietary meals as required.
  • Monitor and record food temperatures for all meals served.
  • Prepare pureed food options as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff across all departments.
  • Maintain proper sanitization protocols in cleaning solutions.
  • Assist in serving meals to residents.
  • Clean the cooking area and serving equipment post-meal.
  • Report any resident care concerns to the appropriate supervisory staff.
  • Participate in the training and orientation of new dietary staff members.
  • Present food in an appealing manner to enhance the dining experience for residents.
  • Exhibit teamwork and cooperation in all tasks.
  • Willingness to supervise and accept supervision as needed.
  • Adhere to established cleaning schedules consistently.
