Job Title: Route Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and secure the trailer doors.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Collect payments from customers and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor and loading dock area.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a tractor trailer driver.
  • Ability to lift and move products of varying size and weight.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in the food service distribution industry.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience.
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience.
  • Customer service-related work experience.
