The Nuclear Projects and Consulting division is in search of a seasoned chemical engineering professional to fill a Process Engineering role. This position involves collaborating with a team of engineers during the design phase of various projects. You will also be responsible for executing and formally documenting essential Process Engineering calculations.

Qualifications Required:

· A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Licensed Professional Chemical Engineer with the capability to secure licensure in the relevant state
  • Proficiency in Process Equipment specifications
  • Experience in Project Engineering and Nuclear Engineering
  • Possession of Q clearance or eligibility to obtain it

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in nuclear material processing
  • Background in uranium processing
  • Residing in proximity to the operational area is advantageous
  • Experience in supervising the work of other engineers and/or designers
  • Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves a variety of physical activities including intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. The lifting requirement is limited to 20 lbs. for items such as supplies and drawings, with the maximum distance carried being 50 feet. Hand manipulation is essential for tasks such as simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Occasional reaching and working above or below shoulder height may be necessary.
