Job Summary

The Pool MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in the diagnostic imaging process, working under the direction of radiologists to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis. This position requires a strong understanding of magnetic resonance technology and the ability to effectively utilize the MRI scanner to capture optimal images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform total body imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in various body planes.
  • Effectively utilize all imaging capabilities of the MRI scanner to produce high-quality images.
  • Maintain optimal patient care and assist in optimizing patient flow and study throughput.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program approved by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the American Registry of Radiology Technologist.
  • Two years of successful experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to grasp and apply scientific principles related to magnetic resonance technology.
