You will work closely with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers to provide effective communication and ensure seamless operations. Your duties will include pre-screening patients for contraindications, performing aseptic injection techniques, and training new technologists and assistants. You will also be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, operating multiple MR systems, and communicating with customers and radiologists. Additionally, you will be required to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be registered as a technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMDS, and have 3 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or be currently enrolled in an accredited MRI training program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality MR studies
  • Work closely with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers to provide effective communication
  • Pre-screen patients for contraindications and perform aseptic injection techniques
  • Train new technologists and assistants
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Operate multiple MR systems
  • Communicate with customers and radiologists

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered as a technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMDS
  • 3 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or currently enrolled in an accredited MRI training program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of magnetic resonance imaging experience
  • Registry in magnetic resonance by the ARRT

Physical Requirements:

  • May be exposed to outside weather conditions during patient transport
  • May be exposed to a strong magnetic field
  • May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease
