About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to various departments, including Customers, Suppliers, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development, and application of mechanical seals, bearings, tooling, and other Rexnord Aerospace products.
  • Create product definition packages, solid models, drawings, and ECNs. Support the development of product validation packages.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement events.
  • Maintain and support existing products, including non-conformance dispositions and returned material analysis.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in Design Engineering, with a preference for previous experience designing mechanical components.
  • Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of 3D Solid Modeling software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO, and/or CATIA.
  • Experience with Design of Experiments is preferred.
  • Ability to work within a team structure and be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of metals and composites, with a background in materials a plus. Exposure to machining, heat treating, and/or grinding is also a plus.
