This is a unique opportunity to join a leading healthcare organization in the Pacific Northwest as a Surgical Technologist. As a key member of the surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms, including one hybrid OR.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for operative patients, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams in a variety of procedures, including orthopedic, general, ENT, plastics, neuro, and robot-assisted surgeries.
- Inventory and arrange sterile equipment, passing items as needed to the surgical team.
- Understand and apply principles of asepsis to maintain a sterile environment.
- Assist in patient preparation and movement, as well as clean-up and room turnover.
- Access computer information as needed, such as preference lists and digital images.
- Accredited Surgical Technology Program or recognized course of training as a Surgical Technologist.
- Surgical Technician - Washington certification.
- Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
- Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist.
