Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at SW Washington Regional. As a key member of our surgery center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

About the Role:

  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal functionality and organization.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Requirements:

  • Current WA State Surgical Technologist Registration required.
  • Specialized training of 13 to 24 months; diploma from an accredited Surgical Tech Program preferred.
  • Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
  • One to two years of scrubbing experience, with a focus on orthopedic surgery highly desirable.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required.
