Cloud Manager

As a Cloud Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be responsible for managing, administering, and supporting cloud environments to ensure continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. This role requires advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems and work without considerable direction, mentoring and supervising team members.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements, cloud computing requirements, strategies, and overall management of cloud resources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues that impact cloud services, including network connectivity and security.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Monitor, report on, and optimize cloud costs and resources by identifying and addressing inefficiencies and managing vendor relationships and contracts for cloud services.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience working closely with stakeholders, technical staff, and cybersecurity to design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements, cloud computing requirements, strategies, and overall management of cloud resources.
• 3+ years of experience with managing cloud infrastructure and applications day-to-day to ensure high availability and performance.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting issues that impact cloud services, including network connectivity and security.
• Knowledge of current and emerging cloud technologies, service offerings, design patterns, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Ability to plan and execute disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Ability to monitor, report on, and optimize cloud costs and resources by identifying and addressing inefficiencies and managing vendor relationships and contracts for cloud services.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoD IAT level II Certification.
Additional Qualifications
• Experience managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
• Experience with Azure.
• Knowledge of systems administration concepts.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams as needed.
• Ability to comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in IT.
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
