We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Midwest Renewable Energy LLC, a 35-40 million gallon/year ethanol plant in Sutherland, Nebraska.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing low and high-voltage electrical equipment, as well as automation and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and automation systems
  • Ensure work is done in compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Participate in planning and scheduling maintenance activities
  • Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance-related issues
  • Provide recommendations for reliability improvements
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience in electrical or instrumentation maintenance and repair
  • An associate's degree (or higher) in a related field
  • Journeyman license preferred
  • ISA certification preferred
  • Allen Bradley SLC 500 experience preferred
  • Programmable logic controller / Distributed control system (PLC/DCS) troubleshooting/programming experience preferred
