Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced welder with knowledge of Oxy Acetylene, Arc, TIG, and MIG welding principles to join our team. As a Welder Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing equipment, machinery, and components using specialized tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair equipment, machinery, and components using Oxy Acetylene, Arc, TIG, and MIG welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Maintain all areas of the ethanol plant, including spare parts inventory, and maximize production through creative problem-solving.
  • Participate in plant projects as needed and work closely with maintenance personnel to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of welding and maintenance procedures, including Oxy Acetylene, Arc, TIG, and MIG welding principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of welding machinery and manual tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Experience with stainless steel pipe welding is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder is preferred.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $24.00/hour (dependent on experience) and full-time benefits. The regular shift is Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with opportunities for overtime and call-in work. Located in Sutherland, Nebraska, this position offers a stable and secure working environment with opportunities for growth and development.
