About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Milieu Worker to join our team at The Salvation Army Eastern Territory. As a key member of our NDNH program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor house rules to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Conduct regular house and room checks to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, promoting a trauma-informed approach.
  • Participate in biweekly team meetings and communicate effectively with the house manager, Milieu Coordinator, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior residential, social service, or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the ability to utilize the internet.
  • Completion of child abuse training and clearance requirements.
