Job Summary:

As a PowerBI Admin, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Power BI service, including workspaces, dataflows, and datasets. You will oversee the installation, configuration, and updates of Power BI gateways, ensuring data security and compliance with organizational policies. Additionally, you will monitor and optimize Power BI performance and capacity, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards, and implement best practices for Power BI report design and data modeling. You will also provide technical support to Power BI users, conduct training sessions, and create documentation to help users effectively utilize Power BI. Furthermore, you will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions, and collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure data integrity and quality. You will manage data sources and ensure accurate and timely data refreshes, develop and enforce data governance policies within Power BI, and ensure integration with other data platforms and tools.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Power BI and its features.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
