Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed staff.
Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, their conditions, and family matters.
Adhere to established policies and procedures while upholding high standards of practice.
Duties include personal care such as bathing, grooming, and assisting with clothing changes, as well as ensuring residents receive proper nutrition by serving meals promptly and assisting with feeding when necessary.
Carry out resident treatments as directed by the Team Leader within the nursing scope of practice.
Document resident information accurately and thoroughly, reporting any changes in condition or needs to the Team Leader.
Actively engage in resident care planning.Promote daily living activities in accordance with each resident's care plan.
Lifting and transferring residents will be conducted following the care plan and the Lift Free Program.
Must be able to lift and transfer residents weighing up to 30 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn consistently during an eight-hour shift.
Must be listed on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days of employment.
Proficiency in English is required to ensure effective communication with residents.
Ability to read and write in English is essential for executing care plan functions and providing appropriate resident care.
Must be able to remain on feet throughout an 8-hour shift, performing regular duties that require bending, stooping, twisting, and turning.
Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds of resident weight and/or transferring and repositioning a resident at least 25 times during the shift.
Must be prepared to respond quickly and decisively in emergencies and unexpected situations involving residents during lifting, repositioning, or other direct care interactions.
Must be able to safely transfer residents from hazardous to secure locations in case of emergencies.
