Position Overview:

This role involves executing a range of responsibilities related to the initial assessment (following established Federal and State regulations) and the continuous eligibility verification of clients for various income support programs and services, which include cash assistance, nutritional support, childcare aid, and healthcare services.

Responsibilities include conveying program criteria; assisting clients in attaining optimal independence while addressing obstacles to self-sufficiency; interpreting and applying the relevant program guidelines to each client case; facilitating enrollment and support for managed healthcare participants; and making suitable referrals to additional community resources or other departmental divisions.

There are 2 Regular, Full-Time positions available.


Work Schedule:

The standard work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required and authorized.


Work Environment:
This position is based within the Itasca County Health and Human Services Department.
