Radiology Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiology Technical Aide to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

• Assist radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other clinical staff in providing high-quality patient care.
• Perform a wide range of duties, including patient check-in, preparation for procedures, and patient transportation.
• Monitor patient support devices and provide overall patient care.
• Assist in radiological rooms by providing blankets, bedpans, and clothing changes to patients.
• Inspect and replenish stock and linen in patient care areas.
• Prepare examination rooms for procedures and provide back-up support to front office and film room staff.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Any combination of training and/or experience that will allow the incumbent to perform the listed duties.
