The Automotive Technician at Midas Pueblo is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional service and repair experiences to our customers. As a skilled professional, you will diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of automotive systems to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize shop equipment, such as lifts and diagnostic tools, to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of automotive diagnosis technology and digital manuals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, promoting a culture of cooperation and continuous learning.
  • Perform routine service inspections, testing, and lubrication of engines and other major components.
  • Repair and maintain vehicles, including those with complex fuel systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments, adapting your skills to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in our maintenance and repair facilities.
  • Lead or train junior technicians in maintenance and repair activities, as needed.
Requirements
  • Two ASE certifications (or aspirations to attain them)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (advanced education a plus)
  • At least two years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Current and unrestricted driver's license
  • Able to operate a standard transmission
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
