Job Summary:

Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to neonates and infants from birth to 1 year old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated symptoms and established diagnoses
  • Provide initial, ongoing, and comprehensive care, including taking complete histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering laboratory and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medication and durable medical equipment, and make appropriate referrals for patients and families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote health, prevent disease, and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide seamless care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Valid DEA license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • BLS certification obtained by the American Heart Association
  • NRP certification
  • Previous neonatal experience required
