Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Hillis-Carnes. As a key member of our Geotechnical Group, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients across a wide range of geotechnical, testing, and monitoring projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of geotechnical designs and proposals for various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Perform geotechnical analyses and evaluations to support project designs and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on site development and project management.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
