TotalMed seeks an experienced Advanced Care Nurse to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from critical care in our Step Down Unit.
Salary and Benefits
$2,437.24 per week, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), licensure reimbursement, relocation assistance, and continuing education opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients in the step-down unit, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS certification (other certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent Step Down experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
