Job Description

About the Role

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will report to the Sr. Manager and work closely with R&D and Marketing teams. This role will entail ensuring the compliance of nutritional products in the countries that Arbonne does business in. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with ingredient reviews to ensure product compliance using the Health Canada NHPID database, TGA Listed Complementary Medicines database, and other country databases as appropriate.
  • Assisting with claims substantiation through Pubmed and other bona fide sources in support of Arbonne's nutritional product portfolio.
  • Developing and reviewing labels and marketing material for the US, CA, UK, PL, NZ, AU, and other countries that Arbonne does business in.
  • Providing timely responses to inquiries as needed to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assisting with marketing collateral review in all the countries that Arbonne does business in.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and changes in the industry.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Nutrition.
  • A Master of Science in Food Science and Nutrition is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in nutritional regulatory compliance.
  • Basic understanding of US Food Regulations.
  • Technical writing skills and high accuracy on document preparation and review.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with spreadsheets and data collection.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Research skills.
