Role Overview
The Integrated Technology Shop Technician – Level 1 is responsible for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of tailored mechanical, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and electrical components in accordance with specified designs.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and adhere to engineering drawings, Bills of Material, and technical specifications.
- Assemble, test, and service systems and components, including hydraulic manifolds, solenoid valves, and electrical controllers.
- Conduct general mechanical tasks, including basic welding and grinding.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, quality checks, and testing outcomes.
- Fabricate and install high-pressure tubing using standard fittings.
- Monitor installed equipment for potential hazards and maintenance needs.
- Repair and maintain machinery such as motors, pumps, and conveyors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Disassemble machinery for repairs or part replacements.
- Analyze malfunctioning equipment to identify defects.
- Clean and lubricate machinery components.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior mechanics.
- Participate in the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives to comply with ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school education preferred.
- Up to two years of combined education and experience in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical processes is essential.

Skills and Abilities
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage daily tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move weights up to 100 lbs.
- Must comply with safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential swing shifts.
