The University of Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Anesthesiology Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing critically ill adults in our adult ICU areas.
Responsibilities- Manage critically ill adults in the ICU and step down to discharge
- Provide intensive care interventions and serve as a resource throughout UKHC
- Participate in ICU triage and admissions process
- Ensure a safe and quality care environment
- MSN for Nurse Practitioners or BS for Physician Assistants
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
- 1 year of required related experience
- $4,000 and 80 hours of leave for continuing education
- Market rate compensation for additional clinical shifts
