Job Title: Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join our team at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide hospital-based clinical services for patients cared for at Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals and the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division's clinical service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care units (MICU)
  • Manage patients in outpatient clinics
  • Teach pulmonary fellows, residents, and students during consult service and inpatient services
  • Participate in the Department's courses for medical students
  • Be an active participant and leader of division and department clinical activities
  • Serve on clinical committees that enhance the care of patients and operation of clinical practice

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine
  • Completion of fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board eligible in pulmonary/critical care Medicine
