This is a unique opportunity to join the Department of Corrections as a Dentist at Airway Heights Corrections Center. As a member of the Health Services Unit, you will be responsible for providing dental services to incarcerated patients, contributing to their overall health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medically necessary dental care to patients, including routine and special procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account patient medical conditions and needs.
- Collaborate with other medical and mental health providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise dental assistants and hygienists, ensuring adherence to department policies and protocols.
- Valid, unencumbered Washington State license to practice dentistry.
- Unrestricted DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.
- Valid BLS certification for healthcare providers.
- Two years of clinical experience in dentistry, with proficiency in computer applications and related technologies.
