We are seeking a highly motivated Dishwasher and Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Palisades Tahoe Resort in Olympic Valley, California.

Job Summary

This is a seasonal full-time or part-time position available at multiple venues across Palisades Tahoe. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing tableware and kitchen equipment, ensuring the dishwashing area is neat and orderly.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and all kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers.
  • Restock tableware and other supplies in service areas and kitchens.
  • Carry bus tubs from service areas to dishwashing stations.
  • Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, neat, and well-stocked.
  • Maintain hallways free of obstructions, floors clean and dry, and perform frequent trash removal.
  • Assist kitchen and bus staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness.
  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Have a neat and clean appearance in compliance with company grooming standards.
  • Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time.
  • Work well as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
  • Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers card.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three months of experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
Compensation:

The estimated hourly salary for this position is between $18.68 and $24.28 per hour, based on location and industry standards.

The base hourly pay range represents the low and high end of the compensation package for this position, which includes additional benefits and incentives.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role include walking, talking, seeing, and hearing regularly, with the ability to carry, lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently.

The work environment may involve exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate to loud noise levels.

The successful candidate will be required to use commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning agents safely and efficiently.
