Caregiver Full Time Day and Night Shifts

Salary Range: $13.00 - $15.00
DescriptionSummary: Enhance and improve the SRIM experience by providing heartfelt care for residents and their families. Demonstrate and promote SRIM's core value of the golden rule by treating others with respect and kindness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Interact with residents at all levels of care, showing empathy and compassion.
- Observe and report changes in residents' health and emotional well-being to supervisors.
- Provide meal service and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Encourage resident independence and participate in leisure activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
- Perform daily general housekeeping duties and ensure a dignified caring atmosphere.
- Respond promptly to residents' requests for assistance and communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Ensure residents sign out when leaving the community and maintain a safe working environment.
- Practice good body mechanics and safe working habits.
- Report safety hazards and participate in emergency situations.
- Work as a team player with associates and management to accomplish work assignments.
- Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude towards work, policies, and procedures.

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
