Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Shreveport, LA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They will work under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, using their expertise to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns
  • Maintain patient and staff safety during procedures
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Two years of continuous experience as an MRI Technologist
  • A valid license in the required state
  • BLS certification
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to learn new applications relevant to the position
Benefits

This is a contract/temporary/traveling position with a 13-week duration. The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance coverage, 401K matching, and new licensing reimbursement.
