C4 Technical Services is seeking an experienced Information Lifecycle Manager to join their Information and Records Management (IRM) department. In this role, you will work collaboratively with team members to ensure records management compliance, including proper retentions and data purging/destroying at the appropriate times.

About the Role:

  • This is a hybrid position that requires working from the office two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and working remotely one day a week (Wednesdays).
  • You will be responsible for identifying data topics, communicating retention requirements, reviewing contracts, and assisting with certificates of destruction.
  • You will stay up-to-date on health regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA) to balance business needs with compliance requirements.
  • You will conduct retention audits, document findings, and handle policy exception requests, including remediation plans.
  • You will develop and maintain data management standards, procedures, and protocols.
  • You will review decommission requests to ensure proper destruction or capture of record information.
  • You will establish and track KPIs, using data-driven insights to identify areas for automation to save time and resources.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in information lifecycle management and/or records management, including 2 years in health-related information management.
  • Understanding of state, federal, and regulatory agency requirements for the security, privacy, and confidentiality of health records.
  • Demonstrated customer orientation, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional certificate or secondary education in records management, including certifications like Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Records Analyst (CRA), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
  • Experience working with databases, particularly healthcare databases, strongly preferred.
  • Current/Previous affiliation with Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) and/or ARMA International (formerly the Association of Records Managers and Administrators).

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
