Position Overview This role is designated for students tasked with supporting the functionality of broadcasting equipment and fulfilling various duties related to athletic event transmissions. Key Responsibilities

  2. Assist in the setup and dismantling of broadcasting equipment for all events.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Candidates must demonstrate the following competencies or be able to articulate their capability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Proficiency in operating personal computers with a basic understanding of software applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to instructions.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet the educational requirements for enrollment as a student at Stephen F. Austin State University. Preferred Qualifications Experience in operating video cameras and familiarity with sports video production are advantageous. Physical Requirements

To qualify for student employment, individuals must be enrolled in at least six semester hours during the fall or spring semesters. For summer employment, students must be enrolled in a minimum of three semester hours or be registered for upcoming fall courses.

Students employed in this capacity may not hold any other positions, such as graduate assistantships or temporary casual employment, concurrently.
