Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Labor and Employment Attorney. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to contribute their knowledge and commitment in a dynamic and challenging setting. The selected candidate will play a crucial role within our legal team, offering comprehensive legal counsel and representation on a variety of labor and employment matters. The attorney will actively manage and navigate multiple labor and employment cases towards successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and support on all labor and employment-related matters.
  • Manage a diverse range of labor and employment litigation, including wage disputes, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination cases.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various employment contracts and policies.
  • Represent the firm in legal proceedings before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for HR and management on labor and employment law topics.
  • Stay informed on changes in labor and employment legislation and advise management on necessary policy updates.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and interests safeguarded.


Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in litigation.
  • Active membership in the relevant Bar Association.
  • Proven advocacy and negotiation skills with a successful track record in labor and employment disputes.
  • A portable book of business is a significant advantage.
  • Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
  • High standards of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple cases of varying complexity.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
