Certified Pharmacy Technician

Gundersen Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a pharmacy professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will organize medications for dispensing, reading medication orders and/or prescriptions, preparing labels and/or bags, calculating quantities, and compounding sterile and/or non-sterile products.
- You will participate in medication dispensing and/or delivery while maintaining pharmacy's medication management and infection control procedures, policies, and regulations.
- As a pharmacy technician, you will be assigned to a specific area of practice and will be responsible for various tasks, including customer service, inventory control, and troubleshooting technology-related processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalency and completion of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program or equivalent pharmacy technician experience.
- 3 months of pharmacy experience, with a desired 1 year of experience.
- Registration with the Wisconsin Dept. of Safety & Professional Services (WIRPhT) and certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Wisconsin, or equivalent registration and certification in Minnesota or Iowa.
Gundersen Health System offers a competitive salary, starting at $18.31/hour, with additional shift differential pay and increases based on prior experience.
