About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesiology providers with preparing patients for surgery, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Clean and stock anesthesia equipment, as well as assist with inventory management.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P) or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) certification required.
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification required.
