About the Role
As a Certified Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) and laboratory standards. You will work closely with supervisors and higher-level technicians to achieve technical guidance and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain TMDE and laboratory standards to ensure they meet international standards and quality specifications.
- Calibration Operations: Conduct calibration operations under close supervision, achieving high accuracy and precision in measurements.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients and management regarding their needs and concerns.
- Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate records of calibration procedures, results, and other relevant data.
- Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with senior technicians to develop and improve calibration procedures, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in calibration or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
