Custodial Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will demonstrate and implement safe work practices and procedures, manage large janitorial crews, and ensure exceptional quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor work activities and schedules of team employees
  • Assist in the hiring, on-boarding, and training of new employees
  • Compile written reports and maintain detailed records
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections, and monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment
  • Act as the conduit of information between management and front-line staff
  • Track equipment and supply inventory
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
  • Provide corrective action recommendations on areas that need improvement

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in janitorial or facilities management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to client requests
  • Must be flexible and able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Needs to have reliable transportation to and from site
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams, and other basic software programs
  • Experience in union environments is a plus
  • Active/Transferable DoD TS Clearance preferred

Compensation and Shift:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $45,000 - $50,000 per year. The position is available on a 2nd shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00pm-11:30pm) or 3rd shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00pm-8:00am) schedule.
