Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere
  • Assign rooms and keys, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage daily arrivals and departures, including groups, and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare guest folios and collect payment, following established procedures
  • Provide accurate and descriptive hotel information to guests and callers, including hours of operation, guestroom features, and local area information
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance, using aggressive hospitality skills to ensure a positive experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including handling mail, messages, and faxes, and arranging transportation
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
  • Customer service background and hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and adapt to changing business demands
