Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Summary:

We are searching for an energetic Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team of clinicians. As a COTA, you will provide occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist
  • Educating patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities
  • Maintaining patient records and document treatments

About the Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a variety of patients and medical professionals.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have MA Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
