As a vital member of the Roland J. Down - Service Experts team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and service tasks on residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Your role will involve engaging with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure their complete satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct service and maintenance calls with minimal supervision.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform diagnostics and services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service details using a handheld device.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to sustain high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, reporting any unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with 0-2 years of experience in a technical environment. Previous experience as an Installer or Maintenance Technician is preferred. You must hold all necessary licenses or certifications as mandated by local regulations.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems and related components.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and resolve issues.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available for on-call shifts.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and navigate various work environments.
